Chaminade College Preparatory seeks an experienced, efficient and organized administrative assistant to join our Registrar and Admissions team.

The Position Representative Duties

This position reports to the Registrar and the middle school Admissions Director but also supports the admissions offices at both campuses, as needed.  

 

Registrar's Office Duties

Assists Registrar with department duties including; acquiring, maintaining, storing, analyzing, and dispersing data pertaining to student biographical and academic records, enrollment, report cards, transcripts, student withdraws/transfers, course requests, and other tasks as related to the Registrar department, including reconciliation of department accounts.

Admission's Office Duties

Assists Admissions Director with admission programs and database maintenance.  Prepares applications for review, assists in preparation and mailing of acceptance and scholarship letters.  Helps maintain applicant database.  Assists in preparation for middle school admissions presentations and events.  Performs other administrative support duties related to the admissions office.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Education and Experience Preferred

Qualified candidates should have a combination of education and experience equivalent to the following:

  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous administrative support experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Previous experience in a registrar or admissions office preferred.
  • Blackbaud Education Edge experience preferred

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Able to support Marianist philosophy and School core values and goals.
  • Proficient in database software
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, and email communications
  • Excellent typing/keyboard skills
  • General accounting skills
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective relationships with members of both campuses

 

Salary and Benefits
